Hello, I’m Stacy and I have been writing since I was a small child.  My mother still has my first short story in a frame on the piano at her house.  She tells me I’m great, but that’s her job!  I’ve been searching for “my style” for years, dabbling in multiple genres and most recently I’ve found that historical writings have pulled me in.  I love researching things that interest me until there’s nothing more to know about them.  I’ve studied the lives of  people so extensively that I feel as if I know them personally.  This began as a hobby and has turned into a fund raising project for the local Historical Society.  Most recently my dearest friend suggested that I pair my project with a creative historical fiction piece.  She’s brilliant!  This is the beginning of my endeavor.

Here I will share important facts related to the people I will be writing about along with photos and as much of the back story as I can.  Hopefully, when my finished product goes to print, those who have been following will feel as if they know the characters inside out like I do.
